Merino Wool Fabric and Washing Instructions The Mountain Heritage collection socks are produced in the historic woolen mill in Ashland, New Hampshire, USA. Each pair consists of 56% Merino Wool, 23% Nylon, 20% Stretch Nylon, and 1% Spandex. These socks are durable and breathable, featuring a design that maximizes merino wool against the skin with added nylon on the outside in the highest wear zones for exceptional durability and breathability. Additionally, they are designed to prevent slipping, bunching, and blisters.

USA-Made Socks Our Mountain Heritage socks are proudly made in Ashland, NH at our headquarters. They come in 4 weights and 7 heights. We also offer a variety of accessories, such as headbands, neck gaiters, balaclavas, hats, glove liners, and fingerless gloves. Our accessories complement any outdoor activity.

Additional Woolen Products We also offer White Mountain Woolen camp blankets made from 55% recycled wool and 45% man-made fiber. These blankets are perfect for everyday use and come in 4 different color ways.

New Hampshire Production In 2019, we established our own sock development mill at our headquarters, allowing us to be more involved in the design process and maintain quality control. This initiative resulted in the release of our first NH-made collection, The Mountain Heritage Collection, in 2020.
